Murray Gallant, a man lies here
Friends, family and admirers – please join us on Thursday evening, January 30 from 5-7pm, as we start off the 2025 exhibition series with a curation of Murray Gallant’s folk art. Free and all are welcome.
Dubbed the grandfather of Cape Breton folk art, Murray Gallant spent his days in his polka-dotted shed, never referred to as a studio, crafting some of the most colourful and unapologetically humorous folk art in Mi’kma’ki.
